Too late to recover the Colorado River delta. Too many competing interests for a resource that was over allocated even before dams were built, not to mention the fact that states served by the Colorado River Compact continue to grow in population despite the obvious limitations of water resources. The policies of the current administration also don’t **** well for the delta. It has already killed the bilateral Columbia River Compact with Canada and shows no interest in negotiating a replacement. It seems like headlines and Venezuelan oil are more important than a stable environment and economy by those dependent on what the benefits the Colorado River provides. Can’t remember the author’s name but would recommend reading “River Be Dammed” for a detailed look at how the river has been misused for decades.

So true, the several decade impact has nothing to do with past leadership, overestimation, or the current Democrat state legislators in California whom is the largest recipient of the water but rather than developing desalination technology or contracting Israel whom have a massive desalination infrastructure set up that’s growing daily instead they’d rather spend 26 billion on a train that’s not ran a single mile but no it’s not those idiots fault, it’s all Trump’s fault!! I’m NFS the details but according to a large portion of the population he’s responsible for anything negative that happens even if it was a hold over effect from the previous administration and anything good that happens he’s not responsible for but rather his predecessor. In one case they argue a year isn’t enough time for his policy’s to take effect and in the next breath they argue it is, and this has been going on since like a month after he’s taken office!

Ha, ha that’s exactly what Trump does, blames Biden for everything that’s wrong. And now that inflation is off the charts, and high unemployment, he simply lies about it as if people weren’t seeing reality.
Are you aware of the environmental and energy costs of desalination? It’s well done in some places like Chile where solar power is being used in desalination it becomes a viable option though the current administration rather spend money stealing oil than investing in self sufficiency through the use and innovation in renewable energy. Trump just defunded all wind power projects, while China innovates in renewables already being a world leader in a sustainable future and environmental sustainability.

Yeah Lucile, is that mrs . Miss. Or mister. sounds like your well educated on our economics. An enviromental impacts. Ha ha. Your not. First biden done nothing because there was no brain there to any with. But i guess you didnt pay attention because your life was so great at. By either taken all the handouts you can find from the Gov. Be it federal or state or NGO. Or if your a working class citizen the . Or you made enough money that it didnt bother you. That inflation was higher under biden. Lest see eggs 7 -9 dozen gas under biden . Now back to normal around 2 bucks. Lower now under trump! Gas lower! Dairy lower! Dry good staples lower !! Etc Etc. Let me know if you want more I ll fax it too you Dummy. So you want to know why Under Biden. Unbeleivable Fraud an waste. Non Buisness people running our Cointry like a buisness but have know experience . Thats what u get get when the Teacher sleeps an the students Teach.! Are you a Teacher or a Student.? Cause sounds like your Unexperinced at both. Much less, economics Or enviromental impacts. But a great radical follwer. DEI hire? Maybe. Probably a main stream media. The view . Late night host fan . Thats fine your choice. Thats what makes America Great. Freedom of choice. Right?? But lets look under Jelly Brain Brain Biden. “Covid Fraud rampant. HHS fraud. DOE Fraud. Federal backed States medicade Fraud, DOT Fraud. Etc. Etc. Fraud. Unpresedented Fraud . You do know what unpresedented means? Yes Every adminstration has fraud under it . But the amount of it is key point! Thats why I know i no nothing about economics. An buisness . Cause if cant Balance the Books you know your wont last . then you turn to fraud.. An like you would proably say print more money or go deeper in dedt. Then that turns into socialism” communismum, fasium. Dictator. An Roality rule. So When your told to look the other way, an no Accountability , an that the Goverment has all the answers an money they want to spend an fix things an make it better. An Equal. An Diverse. An inclusive. Society, nevered worked an never will. An i hope your a buisness owner like me that dont want to be told who i should hire. Because either i have too many whites. Not enough women . Too many blacks not enough Asians. Too many hispanics not enough LBQT ETC. LETTERS To many Asians not enough native indeginous. To many men not ” illegall ” Aliens. But you wont here or report too many everybody above. But not enough white. Because thats their culture, heritage, soblets impose on their buisness, an you know white people got all the jobs an money an buisness were all racist, gun loving , non educated, hillbilly moonshining . White craker, Bible holding, non sociable. God loving , Slave traders , Jew lover , no culture or heritage race of people. That should be elimated or deported as some say? . So if you want some hard core facts thats public accessable knowledge, Wind mills an solar farms , etc. Alternative enegy sources are not sustainable buy there selfs for massive amounts of energy. Supplementle only. Because eveything you use, in your life an livelyhood comes from oil. Period.. period. If u want a list ask an answer watch Billy Bob Thornton on Landman . He ll give you a good breakdown. Sounds like your stuck in a Bubble.. i got a strong 4×4 that can deffinately pull u out of it. Pull my Brothers calf out with it , cause the calf was turned side ways an overlarge an we couldnt pull it out with our arms. An could’ nt tell her, the “Mommy to push harder. Lanquage barrier. Should have hired more DEI people they would have know what to do right,?? Remember i might be one or two of the type of Americans above ya ll love to hate , but if you ever need a hand “dirty or clean , or in need of help no matter where your from or skin tone. I dont hesitate,to help you . But if your only looking for DEI help good luck!!! An if u think Trump is stealing the oil. Might want to check who paid for it first. Liberation is the World Key. As for the point that u forgot was the article . Go to the Delta yourself. Not with some one else eyes or repost. Navigate the river an along road ways from colorado thru Utah. “Love that State” Thru native tribal land Down to Nevada (Desert turned oasis). Right? At what expence? Go Look at lake Mead into Calf. Been on it an thru em up an down an around. But remember Glen canyon Dam is above Hoover Dam. Lake mead. Hydropower plant. Lave Havusu an ungodly amount of tributarys an canals an aquifiers feeding our biggest farming food state of the union. An Second leading population mostly down sream to San berindino county Orange county imeriall valley an more, that used to be mojority desert areas, that grown into concrete , overpopulated . Overfarmed for the natural resorces of the colorado snow an ice melt. That used to make it to the Delta. Its not a constance facet that u can turn up or lower the volume. So now if take away or add from one part your deneing the other parts. An theres a lot of parts!!! Unless you can change climate back to the ice age u might see results. You dont have the sorce. Climate change is natural. Yes we have made our carbon footprint but not as much you might think. Spead the people out , quit stacking people on top of eack other. Work together. But if u cant go out an see the problem i quess theirs really no problem that has means ?? Good luck on your Endeavours Lucille. If thats your real name..

We must begin to rebuild our economic priorities to support those programs which seek to recover policies to overcome what humans have considered helpful to the economy and the way we allocate our water supply and the biosphere which was there before. Let’s not blame others for our own mistakes.
